About Johnny Patterson and his challenge
Johnny Patterson has set himself the challenge of a lifetime by cycling through Ireland’s 26 counties starting in Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath on March 11th 2011. He aimes to complete this mammoth task in just 7 days, finishing in his home town of Ramelton, Co. Donegal on Friday 18th of March 2011. This incredible task will involve not only immense determination, but also a combination of physical and psychological strengths. It will push Johnny’s endurance to the very limit and will involve breaking pain barriers with every mile as he cycles the long road home.
Johnny has chosen these charities in particular because so many families have unfortunately been affected by cancer, including his own. The four charities nominated are doing a fantastic work but also need any help to promote awareness and to enhance the services already provided to cancer sufferers and their families e.g. palliative care, home care, family support.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Many thanks,
Claudia.
